1997 Taylor (Fladgate) Porto Vintage
From 375ml bottle. I previously had the 1992 and 2003 and this fell in between the 2 of them with the 2003 being a little better in my opinion. Paired with a chocolate lava cake. The cork came out in 2 pieces but otherwise solid. Blackish purple color. Heavily sedimented. Really nice and in a good drinking spot at 28 years old. Not overly sweet with tannins that were in check. Notes of white raisins, blackberry and licorice. 94 points.
