1997 Domaine Camus-Bruchon & Fils Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru (9/28/2012)
Visual: very light burgundy color, very translucent, almost violet with a hint of brown. Edges are colorless.
Nose: Saddle leather, mature forest floor, and oyster mushrooms
Palate: Sweet cherry and rasberry fruit, baking spices and some definite powder sugar, alongside worn leather mocassion. A moderate metallic taste comes prior to a short but nice finish.
Fairly good, probably needs more air/time. Will revisit the other half of the bottle tomorrow. B/B-
