1995 Ridge Lytton Springs - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (9/4/2011)
Absolutely gorgeous. Intense dark fruit on the nose with leather and spice. A touch of bricking beginning to show around the edges. Full mouthfeel with even more fruit, silky smooth tannin and enough acid to keep the everything in balance. The wine is in a great place right now.

Had this with grilled pizza tonight. A perfect match. If I’m ever so lucky as to find this on the secondary market, I’ll buy all I can. I’m generally more a Geyserville guy than a LS guy but tonight put me in the LS camp. I’ve had nothing but good luck with Ridges from 1995.
