TN: 1993 Lindeman's Shiraz - Cabernet Limestone Ridge Vd

Found this bottle hiding in the cellar and popped the cork last night - last bottle of probably 6, the others consumed at least 20 years ago. Pleasant surprise - the oak wasn’t aggressively American in nature though lots of and the fruit was mellow and not overly sweet. One could easily have mistaken this for a French cab despite the shiraz component.

A pleasant surprise. I have a 94 Pyrus (Bordeaux blend) and a 94 St. George Cab left. May have to open them together and see how they made out.
