Lovely right out of the bottle. Perfect match with wild mushrooms sauteed in butter, over egg noodles. The mushrooms were a mix of oyster, coral, and zeller’s boletes that I picked yesterday. The forest floor in the wine was a perfect, perfect match. Nice acid levels in the wine give it a long finish even with the food. There’s a note of dried red fruits underneath the secondary notes. Sadly I only have one more bottle.
