1990 Dow Porto Vintage Quinta do Bomfim - Portugal, Douro, Porto (6/16/2018)
Bought on release and stored in excellent cellar condition. Double decanted five hours before service.
Light red color. The palate shows lot of dates and red raspberries. There’s still a touch of alcohol heat showing, but not much.
Past full maturity and beginning to decline, but not failing. Still has a few years of good drinking life left. It’s a good wine for accompanying a medium chocolate dessert. (88 pts.)
