1989 Foreau Domaine du Clos Naudin Vouvray Moelleux - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray (8/30/2022)
Recent auction purchase. Solid dry cork. Burnished brass color but plenty clear. Needed 30 mins to blow off some mustiness and fill out. Blossomed beautifully to precise honeysuckle, cinnamon, and clove. Just a bit of unctuousness but not heavy. A top 10 lifetime wine out of 2,000+.

Thanks for the note. It was a great vintage and volumes were good, so these 1989s still pop up at auction with some frequency. I have had plenty of luck with bottles I have picked up at auction.
