- 1983 Moillard-Grivot Chambolle-Musigny - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (6/3/2025)
The cork was in terrific nick and the wine's colour very fresh. It had a gorgeous nose of rose petal, strawberry and black earth. Florals flowed through onto the palate and there was a tinge of red fruits. It was fine and lacy and thoroughly engaging. Not particularly deep or long but totally satisfying. If you need more length, take smaller and faster sips!
