TN: 1983 Chateau Lynch Bages

Stood upright for 48 hours prior to opening. Base neck fill. Cork in excellent shape. Pop and poured. Enjoyed with Korean BBQ over the next 2 hours.

Alluring nose of mint, cedarwood, soy sauce, and cherry cola. Full mouthfeel with nice heft on the mid-palate. Tannins fully resolved. Finish 30s+. Dad turns to me and says “mmm, this is good.” Beautiful wine.

Love this wine. I had a pristine bottle last year that was memorable: 1983 Lynch Bages

Love it when I have a good bottle of this gem. Wish I had more from purchases in the 1980s.
