Has a mushroom dankness to the aroma that at first is a little distracting. With air you get some green bean action and red fruit crunchiness. There are meat and earth notes and it is a little wooly. It is chunky with general leanness. Despite all of my critical talk about this wine it is actually fresh, engaging and a wine that we enjoyed.
