• 1978 Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 2 - USA, California, Napa Valley (6/20/2009)
  Not quite the stunner my last bottle in November was but fun to taste anyway. It was slightly warm when first opened but was tossed in the cellar for a few minutes to cool down. Very earthy and classic Stag’s Leap characteristics on the nose and palate. A full and rich finish that is still fairly vibrant. Even the French gentleman at the tasting thought it was French.
  This definitely needs to be consumed now but You could hold off for a few more if well stored. My last bottle and I’m sad to see it go. (91 pts.)
