1978 Ridge California Zinfandel Late Harvest ‘Residual Sugar 10.5%’, Dusi Ranch, Paso Robles (14.2%abv)
From a 375ml bottle. Murky brown/red color. Very enjoyable aromas of spice, raisin, dried plum. Medium bodied, with flavors similar to the nose: raisin, hint prune, spice, dried blackberry. Moderately sweet (definitely a dessert wine level of sweetness, but not super sweet), and very nicely balanced with moderate acidity. Medium finish. Overall, super fun to drink, showed very well.
