Many, many thanks to Rich Brown for anything he can offer.
It is reasonably easy to get me to DC.
It is not out of the question to get me to Arizona (not next week), as my Friend Eileen has the Grand Canyon on her bucket list.
Rich, your appreciation and stash of bottle-aged wines is an exemplar. At my upcoming offline, I will be disposing of about 50 bottles of older wines… about 50% red, 30% white, 20% sticky. The whites will all be at least 10 years old. The reds and stickies will all be from the last century, with a 100 year old Tokaji the gerontocrat.
There will be unopened bottles, plus I have more than 50 Senior Citizens. All available for tasting.
Thanks Dan! Thats a huge compliment coming from you and i appreciate it.
I tried to PM you earlier but it didnt go through for some reason so i just tried again. Let me know as I’d love to figure something out for you given your personal connection to the wine
I have a pair of '79s. (Plastic capsule, as are my other Harbor wines.) Wouldn’t mind sharing one when you visit. More broadly, would like excuses to open such older historic wines.
