I had the Barolo over 2 days. Day 1 was tight but showed promise. Day 2 the wine is still tight but shows some very nice red fruit, nice acidity and great with some penne al antica. 92
The Realm was opened had a glass or 2 then refrigerated for 2 days. On 3rd day it is much more complex with lots of dark fruit, tobacco notes and traces of licorice. Feels like velvet in the mouth with almost chewy tannins. Very, very nice. 93
