Last night for dinner we had TJ’s Thai Mixed Seafood Blend, seasoned with granulated garlic, onion powder, onion pepper, SI Spicy Seafood Blend, and tarragon; in Buitoni Alfredo Sauce, with a bit more tarragon; on Rustchhella di Abruzzo Saffron Fettucine. We enjoyed a 1997 Grgich Hills Napa Valley Chardonnay with the pasta - fill a half inch down from the capsule, cork colored a third of an inch; color a medium yellow-gold, good secondary yellow and white fruits with adequte acidity and no signs of oxidation; with a medium long developed fruit finish.
Then for dessert we had, while watching practice for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Brazil, Banfi Grappa di Montalcino and a nice sliced ripe pear, given to us by Laura Chancellor. This willl be the last Grand Prx of the season.
