TJ's Blue Shrimp in Alfredo Sauce on Saffron Fettucine with Older Grgich Hills Chardonnay

Tonight’s dinner was TJ’s blue shrimp in Buitoni Alfredo Sauce on Rustichella di Abruzzo Saffron Fettucine. It was enjoyed with a 1992 Grgich Hills Napa Valley Chardonnay - fill a half inch below the capsule, cork colored about a half inch; color a medium yellow, darker than on release, good secondary yellow and white fruits on nose and taste, with adequate acidity, with a medium long developed fruity finish.

Then for dessert we had a half a Pink Lady apple sliced thinly with a glass each of Banfi Grappa di Montalcino.

After reading this I bought some TJBS and was impressed with the taste, it had some.

We’ve alway enjoyed TJ’s blue shrimp in Alfredo or vodka sauce on saffron fettucine or penne rigate.
