There’s an amazing restaurant in Ragusa named ristorante duomo (2 Michelin stars).
It’s nearly impossible to eat badly in Siracusa; we loved don camillo. There’s lots of other great restaurants. Cafe Sicilia in noto is great for ice cream and was featured on chefs table.
La Locandiera in Catania is great. It’s a relentless seafood feast in a party atmosphere. Pretty good wine selection as well.
We were in Siracusa only for lunch. Borderi, the famous sandwich maker was closed but we ate and shopped very well at Fratelli Burgio.
Oh I forgot, borderi was amazing!
If winery visits are in your plans, make appointments at COS and Occhipinti. 10-drive from each other.
