Thor wine fridge?

Considering the purchase of a Thor Kitchen 24in. 162 bottle wine fridge…anyone have experience with this brand? Reliable? I like the look compared to some of the other producers.

Never heard of this brand, had to look it up - very nice looking, for sure

I am getting my Wine Enthusiast Classic 250-bottle Wine Vault installed in the garage tomorrow. Something like the Thor is something you’d want to display, for sure, in the kitchen, etc.

Yes, I’m looking to include it as a ‘built in’ as part of a custom cabinet set. Otherwise, I’m fine with my vinotemp, etc. brands, which I already have.

These smaller, newer kitchen appliance companies definitely have my interest, as I was convinced to get Hestan for my outdoor kitchen and love it SO much that I hope to do my entire kitchen in it. If Hestan came up with a wine fridge I’d get it immediately

Edit: Oh crap, they DO!

Now that I see the suggested price…maybe not! CURSES! Why can’t I have Alfert’s money!?

These are quite nice looking.

And of course, every true Berserker should own a wine fridge called Thor!

BD14 baby!!

Ha. Even that poser country lawyer choked on the MSRP!!

$12k for 72 bottles? Woah!

Well you need somewhere special to store the $5000 Screaming Eagle Sauvignon Blanc.

You just can’t put in a Yellowtail into a $166 bottle slot.

The Thor looks great and is quite similar, dimensions-wise, to the 139-bottle Zephyr cooler I just bought to be built in to a basement wet bar. (Tho with better capacity.)

I bought it through Abt so am confident about reliability but curious if anyone has experience with the brand? Online reviews were solid.

Sorry, this would be a no go for me. Does not come with a hammer.

Those hestan wine fridges look very nice. Capacity isn’t so great though. I have a Marvel underfridge unit that has basically the same capacity.

Marvel? Thor?

I see a theme developing here…

and viking…

undercounter i meant btw.

The marvel isn’t the best but it came with the house and isn’t bad, although we had to replace the control unit for $600 last year :frowning:
