The Wild Bunch - Low Intervention Wine Fair - March 7th in PDX

Discussed this with a few people at the tasting last night and thought it deserved its own topic. The Wild Bunch is a low intervention wine fair held every year in Portland. Tickets are $58.40 (including service fee) and get you basically all the wine you can taste from 70+ wineries and importers. A few Berserker Day participants will be pouring: Championship Bottle, Perkins Harter and Vincent.

Other notable participants that I know/know of include Division Winemaking Co., Fossil and Fawn, Judith Beck, Johan Vineyard, New Wave Wine Co. and Vom Boden, but you can see all of them and buy tickets at the link below (I have no connection to the event, but they do sell out every year so buying early is recommended.

My wife and I will be attending and we hope to see some fellow Berserkers there! Let us know if you’re coming!

Just and FYI that I’m out on Wild Bunch…I’ll be back east making maple syrup for March - but folks can find me wandering Bracken Vineyard during the growing season (April-Sept)

Dang I was really excited to try your wines. Would love to come see Bracken some time in the spring if possible.

Just adding that there are a ton of events next week related to the Wild Bunch - Vom Boden tasting at Ora et Labora, Judith Beck dinner at Kachka, Hella Chenin at Ok Omens, Bow and Arrow, Monument and Vincent at Bar Loon plus a whole bunch more.

Vom Boden represents me in Chicago/NY/NJ - maybe I can ask John Ritchie to pour some of my stuff with the German lineup. Otherwise, I’ll be back in April.
