The Official "What are You Drinking for T-Day" Thread!

It was fantastic - a few hit shops earlier this year in NYC. Could easily be mistaken for a much younger wine.

Photo seems washed out in my browser. If it’s not visible that’s 1992 Calera Reed and a 1995 Dauzac. The Puligny was a nice surprise - my other bottle several years ago was pretty oxidized.

How was the Dolce? I have an 05 in the cellar. Haven’t looked at it in a long while but I remember it being much more yellow

2009 Cristal and 2012 Larmandier-Bernier Chemins d’Avise. Both are drinking very well.

I can’t imagine even noticing a Beaujolais with an LdH Blanco on the table. :joy:

My niece hosted for the first time. Had a good time but I was designated driver so I only had sips. The Patricia Green and the Peter Michael stood out

Big crew and feast. Everything showing nicely. ‘98 Giacosa was the best of the vertical(ish), but the ‘99 was so youthful and spritely, heading to the head of the class in 5 or 10 years.

Sadly my last bottle of Cabot sparkling.

As someone who has lived frequently in Japan, I highly approve.
Lovely presentations.
Did you make your own pickled veg (tsukemono)?

It was just three of us.
My wife really loves Alsatian Gewurztraminer. (Ok, I do too.)

Unfortunately, we did not get around to opening it.

Neither full bodied nor concentrated as previously tasted normal vintages… Too difficult to finish :smiling_face_with_tear:
