The end of Cave Dog

Received an email today from Michael Havens that his Cave Dog project is coming to an end and he’s moving on. I’m sure that some folks here were familiar with the Havens wines, and may have also followed him to his new label - but surely many may not have been aware. His Albarino has always been a favorite in our household, and the red wine is a great treat for those who enjoyed the Bourriquot.

Anyway, just a heads up - for anyone interested in a last shot at these wines, it’s now 50% off all 12+ bottle orders on his site.

I hope he finds another project to showcase his winemaking skills.

I also received the email, and sad to see the end of this. The half off is a terrific deal, IMO.

I went to the website and saw no indication of price reductions.
Does anyone have a link to the discounted wines?
Best, Jim

Looks like the discount applies automatically once you have a case in your cart.

Was this his project with Morgan Peterson or is that something else?

Cheers.

And Michael & Mari are moving to Galicia, Spain.
I sure hope some of the wines they create there make it back to the states!

For anyone who missed out, 2018 Cave Dog red available at WTSO for $19.99 under the “Last Chance Wines” selection.

that is a great deal, I paid about $54.00 per. Good wines, and even better at that price!
