The .375 thread

I picked up a case of ‘82 Leoville Las Cases in 375ml not long ago.

Bedrock offers 375’s of the Bedrock Heritage. They sellout fast.
Jaffurs Santa Barbara County Syrah comes in 375’s too usually around $12. Easy QPR.

envoyer is offering 2016 Domaine Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules at a really nice price on prearrival. Once shipping is included, however, I just can’t justify it. But if you are out west maybe it makes more sense

How much is yours? I grabbed four for $20 shipping, I’m almost local.

My offer for the Jadot was $39.99

My bad, I meant shipping costs. The bottle cost is the same for all at Enovyer.

Thank the lord, I was plenty put out you got the $20.00 offer.

Bins over racks is my preference for 375s . Picture shows both (racks on right are 375)

$7/btl

We bought some .375’s of 2007 Labegorce for $20 and had our first one over the weekend. Unheralded producer in Bordeaux. Unheralded vintage. Darned good wine. Love how that works out sometimes!

Flickingers has 2016 Reserve de la Comtesse for $29.89. Essentially no premium over the .750 for half bottles.

Such a fantastic wine

Have you tried one? Something that old in halves I’d imagine might be a bit long in the tooth if not perfectly stored very cold.

375’s of Bordeaux are one of the great joys of life.
Andrew, they last as long as 750’s for all practical purposes, as long as they started out proper.
PCLIN, I bought a case of the 85 Las Cases in 375’s back in the 90’s, and they’ve been fantastic. Well done on the 82’s.
My advice to younger drinkers (sadly I’m not in that category), is to buy bdx on release in half bottles. You will not regret it.

Picked up some 2019 smith haut and issans… stoked to drink them in 10-20 years

This chimes well with me, I have a fair quantity of Cantemerle, Batailley and Langoa Barton in 375s from numerous vintages. I can pull the cork from a bottle that will give great satisfaction without having to stop and think about whether I should save it for another day.

No yet, will ship back sometimes this year. The case has been stored in-bond in UK, so I am comfortable with the provenance. I have not tasted a ‘82 LLC for a long time, previously I had always preferred ‘85 and ‘89 vintages

Since ‘14 vintage, I pretty much ordered all Bordeaux EP in halves, not getting any younger and I also drink a lot less per sitting these days.

I wish more Burgundy and Northern Rhône producers would bottle their wines in halves, tough regions to find halves.
