Slightly smaller crew this year after losing my aunt and uncle within the last 8 months🪽. So not as many bottles popped this year. Nothing too crazy, for I’m the only Wine Enthusiast in the fam.
N.V. Secondé-Collard La Cuvée Perpétuelle Brut Champagne Grand Cru 'Bouzy
This non-vintage (N.V.) Brut is the house’s flagship perpetual cuvée—a perpetual blend topping the base vintage with younger wines, ensuring vintage consistency while building complexity over time. It’s a multi-vintage assemblage primarily from Bouzy’s Grand Cru sites, with 20% reserve wines for balance. The first time with these bubs…very tropical, lycee fruit, cantaloupe, lemon, bruised apple, yeast, full in the palate, a little disjointed on the finish, but this was tasty:yum:…though I might prefer a slightly lower dosage 
1998 Gruaud Larose…Banger ‘Off’ Vintage Left Bank Bordeaux… An absolute leather fest in the Glass…So much Leather a BDSM fan club would be jealous, clearly I was the Sub here and G.Larose the Dom! 
The overwhelming Crazy Cat o’ Nine Tails action slapping my tongue that I declared, “Thank u, may I have another!!”
So much Rustic Saddle Leather that Butch Cassidy would of exclaimed, "Dayum, slap my chaps and call me Sally!"
If Pauly Shore loved Bordeaux then he’d be extremely impressed by all the Cheek Chiller action going on here 
Not to forget the supporting players…Juicy plum, cassis, garrigue, chinon’esque green tobacco on the finish, low alc at 12.5% OLD Skool All Day…Folks, this Is Bordeaux 
Oh …and Turkey 
Being w/ the folks for the first time in a month we were also able to celebrate my son Cage. Technically it was not his birthday yesterday BUT November 23rd 2006 was Thanksgiving and that’s the day my boy was born:wine_glass:
