Thanks. Have you guys had good luck with them? Reviews online certainly seem less than ideal.
Vinsrare is awesome, Bryan great.
No issues here.
not usually anything of interest on Reverse Wine Snob but today they’ve got a 4-pack of Robert Weil Spatlesen that comes down to like 17 bucks a bottle:
Thanks! In for a pack for dad.
Only two left after I grabbed some (thankfully, I know a guy locally) and only for local Indianapolis-area pickup, but I thought this was delicious when I had it at a restaurant last spring and happily bought two thereafter at $42. At $19.99 it’s a steal.
Envoyer has 2020 Charvin for $45 (if you buy three). I bought only one to keep a vertical going.
Envoyer also has Vilmart GC for $55.
Tell your guy that there’s an Indianapolis offline group slowly getting off the ground.
Kingston still has a bunch of 2022 Falkenstein left. No more Gisela but they have some Palm, Onkel Peter, etc.
He’s not much of a wino, sadly, but I’ll keep working on that.
LastBubbles had it for $48 with free shipping on 3 bottles, instant no brainer
If you are talking about the recent offer, that was the Grand Reserve. Grand Cellier is better and more expensive. Both good wines but I feel that most agree the GC is worth the relatively modest price bump.
What @Michae1_P0wers said. IMO, the GC is the workhorse. Terrific QPR year after year.
I stand corrected, my mind read Vilmart Grand Cru.
I just happened to remember that offer because I did a double take to see if it was GR or GC they were offering.
Envoyer just sent an email with a bunch of 2001 Germans including these two beauties. I’d be all over it, but I already have cases. Unfortunately no Spat offered, which is what I really need…
2001 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese $89.99 x12
2001 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel $99.99 x6
First bottle has ‘13 DP for $225.
2014 Meyney for $13.99
No experience w/ this retailer, but if I were in the North Tahoe/Reno area, I would be tempted to swing by for a case. I thought it was tremendous value when I paid $35.
Wow! I’ll swing by there tomorrow and check this out. Thanks
