FYI - they have a consolidate option and will hold wine for the summer for you so you can always start putting together a case now and pay for shipping this fall when you’ve got 6 or 12 bottles.

Was going to ask the same! Dug through the CA wines but unfortunately nothing that jumped out to me

If you find a great deal and order it, 40% they never send it to you, 40% you get it but fewer than you ordered, 20% you actually get your full order.

I’ve been ordering from Zachy’s for years and had nothing but great service and no problems with any orders. Have found plenty of great deals too, although not much in the last year or so. I do wish they made it easier to sort / search their sales

I wonder if frequent customers like you get the wines and the service that an occasional buyer might not?
Totally just speculation on my part, I don’t have any way of knowing. More likely just the vagaries of one person’s small sample size versus another’s.

I’ve bought from Zachy’s maybe 5 times total (with maybe like 2-3k total purchases, certainly not a huge amount) and always got the wines. I did have one episode of heat damage but they took care of it immediately without any pushback.

yeah when in doubt with small samples / anecdotes, randomness the likely culprit! No doubt some folks have had bad experiences with them, just hard to draw any conclusions. I am local and either get free local delivery or pickup so that may help my experience (and reduce chances for messing up shipping).

And if you do get lucky enough for them to send your entire order…theyll do such a shitty job packaging it that UPS will break the bottles during shipping and your irreplaceable wines will be gone…and you’ll have to spend weeks hounding Zachy’s to give you the refund based on the insurance you purchased…which they will ultimately mess up twice and have to re-correct.
