Nick- your only about 12 miles or so up US 19 for B-21 so it’s worth the trip. Rhett is the man and also remember if you go they don’t have everything on the shelves as a good bit will be in the warehouse so spend some time looking at their website.
There is a Total Wine on FL 580 that is pretty good in a pinch.
Randall- Redneck Wines on MacDill( just south of Bay to Bay is very good especially for Cali Cabs. Probably best pricing in town but their stuff sells out fast so it’s best to sign up for email alerts.
Have you tried Noble Crust on 4th St yet ? Pretty cool place with good food and $15 corkage
In addition to B21 and Berns (including their wine store at the Epicurean Hotel), both of which are well deserving of their recommendations, there is also the Wine Shop of a Largo on Clearwater-Largo Road (especially for Latour burgs - owner is very knowledgable), Locale Market in downtown St. Pete (neat place even aside from their small but interesting wine selection), West Palm Wines in Ybor (may be a bit far out of the way but nice selection of rare wines in the back) and I’ve even found some good deals at ABC on 4th Street in St. Pete.
Will check out Redneck Wines as I like Cali Cabs. Actually were i live it’s a easier drive to Tampa than to Tarpon. Tarpon can be a 3 day trip with traffic some days. Yes eaten at Noble Crust once. Food was good but thought a bit pricey. This was just after they opened so we will probably try again. Bern’s, we just go to dessert room.
