$25 for 5 ounces of hot sauce? Plus $8 shipping? Really? Really?
Think I’ll just stick with my perennial favorite, Crystal.
$1.59 for 12 oz. at my local grocery.
Me, too. Once I tasted Crystal, Tabasco wasn’t even a consideration.
Now, if only I could find some tiny bottles of Crystal like those Tabasco has for sudden, away-from-home needs.
I bought this the last time it came out, a few years ago, and I really loved it.
Furthermore I know that my brother in law would be delighted to have a bottle as a gift.
If you are only ordering one bottle, then the $8 seems like a lot for shipping. If you order 3 or 4 bottles the shipping amount doesn’t increase very visibly. I paid less than $10 for 3 “special” bottles and a freebie.

Shipping is fixed, I think. I ordered 8 bottles (unfortunately before I saw Frank’s post) and shipping was the same. I loved this last time and I’m coming up on finishing up my last bottle. Very expensive, and probably not worth it, but it is significantly different/better than the regular sauce.

Interestingly, the previous release a couple of years ago was selling for around $75 on Ebay a while back. Nuts.

So…
I had to dig my 140 reserve Tabasco out… This stuff is way better than the regular Bottling. I have had this bottle open for awhile which is also concentrating the flavor … I bought 3 @ the last offering, and just finishing my 2nd bottle… great topping for oysters this rainy afternoon!!
