T/N 2007 Sojourn Pinot Noir Sangiacomo Vineyard

07 Sojourn Pinot Noir Sangiacomo Vineyard

This wine hit the ground running. Opened with friends at The Grocery in Brooklyn ($25 corkage). My non-wine friends exclaimed Wow as soon as they tasted the wine. A wonderful taste of cherries. Janet said ‘oh my’. I love it when non-geeks taste good wine. Makes them believers. This is an easy drinking wine. Smooth and tasty. No tannins. The wine is medium bodied, and a medium red pinot color, unlike the Sonoma County pinot, which is much lighter in color. Purchased on the mailing list. I’m always sorry when I drink a bottle young, but oh the rewards of waiting. No regrets. 92
