T-bone comes to town, Quick TN mostly 99's- Paradigm, Pavie, Rayas

Bill should change his nickname to “Hanger”.

Phil, you had T-Bone over to your house. Sweet.

Has your wife done an inventory of all her undies and night gowns yet? pileon neener

And there was no T-Bagging either! (Whew!)

Thanks Phil! Incredible evening, hangers and wines were off the charts for me as I don’t get to sample many burgs, rhone’s or bordeaux’s.

And the bourbon was 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle (thak you Tex!).

Dustoff…you’ve got to try this!

Always a great time, the hospitality was over generous as usual. Great to see you all and Kristi also!

T-Bone I hear you might be coming to Atlanta soon . . . true?

T-Bone,

I’m on it. I’m lined up to get a bottle here in the next few weeks. I love the 15yr though it’s a touch sweet as a wheat based drink.

Great work men.

We decided to give Bowden a shout-out last night…post bourbon. Not quite sure what we said, and your name came up as well. Called Gimli (Zach) but his mom wouldn’t let him talk on the phone after 10pm…

Be in the ATL Oct. 27th week. Would love to hook up with you guys.

Apparently Wetrock got some texts too - perhaps he should post them.

Haha…Once I move, you can call me whenever you want! I can just imagine you drunken fools calling my parents house.

Glad to see the note on the 99 Rayas. I have a bottle and haven’t been impressed with the notes I’ve been reading. Seems like this is one to just drink rather than save for something special.

You mean when you are old enough? Big enough?

Glad to see the note on the 99 pavie, that was one vintage I happen to go long on (for me).

If anyone ever ventures out to the outlands of fort Worth, please let me know so we can share some juice!

It was good, not great. After I left, I thought about it some more and the candied comment that I made. It did have a cinammon/Red Hots candied flavor profile. Somebody, Liotta maybe, told me that was indicative of their style.

The Paradigm was everything that I could hope for in a vine…Oakville, Cabernet and Heidi Barrett.

I know where you live.

Disclaimer - Just beware of the trap gun behind the wine cellar door!

Trap guns I can deal with…guard dogs, not so much.
