Are you sure you’re not confusing the ‘regular’ petite sirah with the old vine version?
The regular is released in the Fall, and the Old Vines in the Spring.

I liked their merlot a lot last year when I tasted there. Went very well with lamb and duck. More toward the red fruit side of the spectrum.
