IT IS OFFICIAL. I DID THE COUNTING.
As of today, I am out of the blocks hard for the year. I have bought more cases of wine this first quarter than any other quarter in my 20 years of wine buying! WTF. No rhyme or reason, perhaps just less cycling so more interest in wine as I sit my phat butt around the house. The goods news is, perhaps my buying correlates with two very strong years in the regions I focus on, Norther Rhone, Loire and Bordeaux, 2009 and 2010, and the 2011 and 2012 vintages in these regions do not seem to be equivalent. So perhaps I will get a break after I stock up. Just bought more stuff today. Ugh.
