What followed was a striking transformation that leaves Boroli as a source of immaculately farmed, classicly styled Nebbiolos that are still largely unknown by collectors.

Wine Explorers Club - Emmanuel Rouget Cros Parantoux 2pk - 2014 and 2015The historic plot made famous by Henri Jayer, the tradition carried on brilliantly by his descendants. 97-99 points, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate The 2015 Vosne-RomanƩe 1er Cru Cros Parantoux, raised entirely in new oak, has a very clean and precise, yet incredibly intense bouquet, layers of red and black fruit loaded with minerals, all with wonderful precision. The palate is extremely precise, perhaps one of the nose I have encountered in recent years, with laser-like focus, perfect acidity and a gentle grip on the Richebourg-like finish that lingers long in the mouth. This is a stunning Cros Parantoux, stunning. (NM) 95 points, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate The 2014 Vosne-RomanƩe 1er Cru Cros Parantoux, of which there are seven barrels this year, has a beautifully defined bouquet, very pure and precise with wild strawberry, limestone, rose petal and a touch of blood orange. You miss a heartbeat just nosing this wine. The palate is precise, refined and very pure, a silver bead of acidity, so much energy on the finish as it fans out in graceful fashion. There is incredible persistence here, a brilliant Cros Parantoux with which Uncle Henri would have been proud. [Neal Martin, 09/28/2017] Stored professionally since release. 1 set.

Leftovers on a chill Saturday. Day 2 of the chardonnay shows no sign of slowing down. A little more relaxed but also more volume and texture, still vibrant with a nice lemon lime finish.
To match the vibe, got the man Miles Medina on the decks:

If you are on the fence about picking up some of this wine, absolutely take my word for it and DO IT. Jasonās wine is incredible, especially the Paso and Diamond valley cabs. Highly recommend!! I first picked some up two years ago at berserker day, and have been hooked since.

This is the Paso Cabernet Eric is referring to. Itās incredibly tasty and comes from a unique background. Own-rooted, old vines planted on limestone give a good acidity to balance the happy labrador fruit.
Youāre a bad fāing Man Jason, you got me with De Souza and now I would love to try the Bucaco wines!
Omg please get the bucaco wines they are legitimately amazing but people have no idea what portuguese wines should be like. Same with the lagrein!!
