Highly recommend the 2016 Marcey’s Vineyard cab. I have a decent amount of 2015 and 2016 and they both evolved into excellent wines. For around $36, the 2016 is one of the best Cabernet deals that I have come across this BD.

Just drank the first 2016 Marcey’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Stellareese, and couldn’t be more pleased with this BD14 purchase. You know immediately that you’ve opened a Napa Valley cab. In 2023, its tannins are strong but very drinkable with the filet mignon we’re having with it. It has a nice lively acidity, and the flavors are more cocoa/leather than fruit-forward. Very nicely balanced. The other two bottles in this three-bottle set, I’m going to cellar for a few years, as I have a feeling it’s going to get better and better as the tannins and acidity marry even more over time. A very nice bottle now as well!
