Standouts from Berserker Day?

What’s everyone’s favorite new wines they tried from BD?

I’ll go first.

I really love the three Pinot Noirs I got from Sun Break wines. The Colette and both vintages of Marie-Paule Reserve are well balanced with perfect acidity. So much comes through on the nose and palette. Will defiinitely be buying more.

Perry Colin for sure. The OB was a hit at a recent casual dinner.

Goodfellow opened the pandora box of OR bubbles for me. Only have 5 cases of OR bubbles so far and expecting to sign for more this year

I’ve really enjoyed the Patricia Green Cellars Volcanic and Marine Sedimentary Pinot Noir wines.

Arabilis for me. Both the 22 Pinot and 20 Columbia Gorge sparkling were outstanding. Signed up for the club immediately.

I’ve only opened 2. ‘15 Perkins Harter The Weight Old Vine Zin which was fantastic and several “Just Pink!” rosés from Julien Fayard which my Wife really likes. So far so good.

This. Very different wines too when tasted side by side.

I made a blind purchase of a case of Suzor “Sunflower” Chardonnay. I absolutely love it. Textured and rich with no overt oak flavors, crisp acidity and a resonant finish. Serious Chardonnay for a very modest tarriff.

I’ve tasted a lot of OR bubbles as someone who has made them in the past . I had a bottle of Goodfellow bubbles last week and was blown away. By far the best Oregon sparkling I’ve had. Maybe even the best domestic sparkling I’ve ever had.
