Saw a couple of recent articles on this project. New wine made by Celia Welch who also makes Scarecrow and Corra, among others. Rutherford fruit and 2018 is the inaugural vintage. $250 per bottle.
Anyone try this or purchase it? Nothing came up in a search.
I read the Forbes article and got interested. Tried to find out more, like you are/did. The only connection I could find was to Hess (now Hess Persson Estates) and Stalworth being a project of the Perssons. Hopefully someone on the board knows more.
Bump. Stalworth has now shipped out its 2018 vintage. I would have thought someone would have popped a bottle (ala Pobega) and posted a tasting note. Anyone have input?
@dougwilder did you get a chance to talk to Celia Welch about the Stalworth cab?
