Vice Versa changing their base wine to Spinning Plates for 2019 vintage. Anyone know anything about this? Why the change?

Shipping to FL is insane. Not their fault persay but it gets prohibitive after a while.

I found the 19 needing a bit of a decant or some bottle age. Haven’t tasted the 21 so don’t know. I’m assuming if you gave it a few hours of decant it will be great.
Glad they seemed to hold pricing flat on this for this year. Debating 3 or 6 as I’m starting to get priced out of the SVD offerings for a lot of these wineries. Last chance to load up before I just live and die by auctions.
In for 6. Appreciate the price remaining the same after the SVD’s all shot up $50-$75/bottle.
I just had a 19 this weekend. 2 hours air (like most Napa Cabs) served it well. VV wines are silky and layered. Day 2 it was even softer with mocha notes. Really enjoyed.
I put these on par or even superior to Lithology Napa Cab and Theorem Hawks Prey (all $150)

Got 6 as well. I enjoy all VV wines and glad pricing held the same!
VV vs Lithology is interesting to me. I think Lithology may be a little underrated tbh.

Im in florida as well ftlauderdale if you get Samantha to do some consolidating id be glad. I think im up to 100 usd in shipping for the 3 releases (6 bottles total)

Ask for UPS cold chain….slightly cheaper. FedEx cold chain not an option. Samantha was very helpful and she can only do so much as the shipping companies have exponentially increased their cross-country prices.
