Terry, do you care to say a word or two about your SOS scale? I’ve read the couple paragraphs you’ve put to print in your vintage guides, but wonder if there’s anything you’d like to add.

Where on the SOS scale do you prefer to drink Kabinetts, Spatlese, and Auslesen? Is your answer vintage/producer/region dependent?

Not to be snarky, but I have nothing to add to what’s already written. My drinking preferences have entirely to do with what I’m eating, though unbalanced wine us always unwelcome.
