Some Great Recent Northern Rhones

[David_Cooper]

ZR. I love your description of the Barge CR. I was inspired to post my not quite so inspiring note on a recent 1995.

TN: 1995 Domaine Barge Côte-Rôtie Côte Brune

1995 Domaine Barge Côte-Rôtie Côte Brune - France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Côte-Rôtie (9/1/2023) Medium red, brown with clear edges. Smoked meat, plums, dried mushroom and black cherry. Delicious earthy, briny, black cherry flavours and a quite tannic meaty finish. Loved this. Years of life ahead. (94 points)
