SO2 by modified ripper, bad results.

Hi,

I’m using an oeno-bio 20 to get FSO2 post pressing on white grapes. Previously the results aligned well with those from our AO unit, but the last couple of days the modified ripper results are really different.
I’m using H2O2 to correct for ascorbic/phenolics, and fresh reagents.
Has anyone got any ideas about what could be going wrong- its my first time using the oeno-bio.

Melissa, I’m afraid I don’t even know what an oeno-bio 20 is. I normally run rippers manually and am happy with the results. If I could just do something about the color of Petite Sirah!

Have you tried decolorizing with carbon?
