First time poster from Australia.
After some recommendation from champagne enthusiasts out there.
I run a small French import business and will be visiting champagne in june. We’re in talks with some great growers but I’m also looking for a small house at the value end.
To give a comparison, something like Andre Clouet which does really well here. Good quality, great packaging and hits that affordable price point. Palmer probably in that zone also.
If it’s well-known, it’s probably already here. Champagne market in Australia is nuts.
There are a few that I think might be suitable…..Charles Ellner, Dumenil, Bernard Robert.
