First Things First - Thank you to Todd and the entire WineBerserkers Crew for making this possible year after year, and running the best Wine and Wine-Adjacent site on the internet.
If you haven’t been paying attention, (and I hate to be the bearer of somewhat troubling news), the wine industry has been in a tough place for the last few years. Existing, and thriving, as a small winery (2000 cases or below) has been more of a challenge recently, for reasons that many are familiar with. That being said, I am incredibly grateful to be where we are, making the wine we want to make, and keeping our head and shoulders above water. If Silas was a much larger operation, the scale of the difficulty would be much greater, and we would be forced to make some very difficult decisions about quality and/or production. We owe our success to the customers who come back year after year, our Wine Club, and this amazing community. Without support like this, prospects for high quality, smaller production wineries like Silas would be a lot less rosy. Thank you for the support, and I look forward to getting some great bottles into your cellars and onto your tables.
YES, I ship to you!
When ordering through the website I use Vinoshipper to fulfill and ship to 40+ states. If your State isn’t on there, post in the thread below or email me and I will put your order in. alex@silaswines.com
Wines ship in the Fall when temperatures across the country are cool - this probably means October.
THE DEALS
I know there are a lot of deals today, so I have kept the Silas Offers straightforward: One general discount & shipping code, one limited Riesling bubbly made available, and one mixed Silas Sampler Case at 50% off
-
The Main Deal is a 25% discount on all the wines on our website, and everything ships for $20/box.
Shop Silas Wines and use coupon code VIN26 at checkout - shipping deal and discount will be applied to your cart. All of our current releases are available on the site, and for these three days I have made available some of our library wines as well. No exceptions to the percentage deal, and whatever fits into a box ships for $20! Take two minutes to look here and see what piques your interest. I am available in this forum or PM for any questions you have about wines, vintages, or recommendations. -
EXTREMELY LIMITED CHAMPAGNE METHOD RIESLING AVAILABLE
We are about to disgorge our 2023 Eola-Amity Hills Bois Joli Vineyard Riesling Bubbly. I normally do NOT offer this through the website, as it is an extremely limited release (30 cases this year) and my Wine Club typically eats it all up. I am offering 3 cases here, which I expect may sell out to the Monopole Cru on Day 1. 2+ years on lees in the bottle, typically a 3g/L dosage. Bois Joli Vineyard was planted in the 80s and is one of the most beautiful spots in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA to grow grapes. The code above (VIN26) applies to this bottle as well as all others - so if this is in your cart make sure to use the code. Available till sold out. -
VINdependance Mixed Silas Case ($250, normally $500!)
Here is a Case Sampler of all things Silas at a somewhat ridiculous discount - Pinot Noirs from different vintages, a Cru-Beaujolais style Gamay Noir, Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon, bubbly and dry Rosé, Eola-Amity Hills still Riesling and a Malbec/Viognier Blend. This is a great case for anyone - a perfect introduction to the wines we make for those new to Silas, and for returning fans a nice cross section of the wines that keep you coming back. Make sure to enter the coupon code VIN26 for the $20 shipping on this case!
And that is a wrap. I hope you are all having a wonderful summer, and I look forward to getting some bottles to you in the Fall. Thank you for your support, and have a great time looking through all the deals today.
Cheers from Amity,
