I just had to check out the PLCB store in Philadelphia. Prices seem in line with upscale retailers such as Grapes in N. White Plains.

They have some great sales.

Shirvington Shiraz 2005 WA 93, yeah yeah, I know, is 30 bucks.

CT reports on the high side also.

I’m headed over there to buy some. They had at least 7 cases stacked up on an endcap.

thats a good buy. a distributor in md dumped it a year ago or so. i picked up the cab for 20 a bottle. i tried the shiraz as well and also enjoyed it, but it sold out before i bought any.

2004 was the last vintage of this crap that we carried. We sent it packing at $39/btl and the Cab @ $19/btl. Never again…I am sure that the PLCB feels the same way.

They had 20 cases @ 6 per case.

I was impressed by the sale prices on some items. All I needed was computer access to check for value.
Daniel, several months ago you offer the Shirvington (year unknown). That’s how come I knew/thought I was getting a bargain/quality. Of course, your mileage may vary. [highfive.gif]

I’m satisfied with my purchase.

Yes, $19 is the sale that I refer to…2004…we bought no 2005 or 2006.
