Hi - I have two friends who both want to ship 1-5 cases of personally owned wine produced in Calif to France.
The first friend is getting married in France. She wants to include some of the wine she produces in the U.S. in the wedding celebration party. Both my friend and her husband-to-be love Paris and are scheduling their wedding celebration in France. They and their guests are obviously going to be buying a lot of French wine, but they wanted to include some of their own wines in the party.
The other case is an American who is going on a wine tasting experience in Bordeaux with a friend who is French. He wants to take 1-2 cases of American wine to share with his French friend. I suppose this might be accomplished by my friend giving a gift to his French friend.
Anyone know someone in the transport business who can ship these products?
My second question is whether it is possible to ship personal wine as checked baggage on a commercial flight.
