Shiba Wichern Cellars - Oregon Pinot noir & Auxerrois (& Sparkling!)

Brent,

The sparkling is sold out, but the pre-releases are still available and I will extend the BD14 pricing. Send me a private message on here to make arrangements if you want.

That goes for everyone / anyone until Friday. If you’d like access to the BD14 pricing, send me a private message. I can’t / won’t put the BD14 pricing back up on the web-store…

PLEASE NOTE: I am putting this here as a reminder. As it says in the offer in the first post, the pre-release white wines will be bottled in March. They will be given a month “to rest” and we will ship them in April. Orders with only red wines or sparkling might go out a little earlier, but it depends on the weather.

If you have any questions or special requests wrt shipping, private message me or email me chris at shibawicherncellars dot com.

Once again, THANK YOU, Berserkers!

Update: We plan to ship all remaining orders in the week of April 17th.

Background / Additional Info.: Blending and bottling the whites got pushed back a few weeks due to scheduling conflicts (aka planting vines). This delay has in turn pushed our shipment plans back a bit. For those of you concerned about the weather, Akiko watches forecasts carefully when shipping and will actually adjust shipping dates to avoid time spent at higher temps - not just at your location, but along the way there too!

We appreciate your orders and your patience. As always, with any questions or concerns, please DM here or email at Chris at ShibaWichernCellars d0t c0m.

@ChrisWichern - Everything arrived safe and sound today. One question purely out of curiosity… the sparking was described as “2021 Pinot noir whole-berry Pet. Nat.” above but I don’t see a vintage listed on the label. Is it all from the 2021 vintage or is it a NV of multiple vintages?

Excited to try either way, but I’ll certainly let it sit for a month or two.

@RickyD we don’t make enough sparkling to create / print new labels for every vintage. The label is NV. The wine is 2021.

@ChrisWichern - That’s what I figured, especially since you said it wasn’t a retail product. My DB is updated with the notes. Thank you!

Hola Chris, I read that it’s mostly a family and friends thing, but if there’s is a list for extended family… I’ll bring you good BBQ to be on that list year over year end you can call me cousin Rich. It’s good BBQ. I’m in SC though, may need to overnight.
