Same for me.

Has anyone bought a replacement key for one? Trying to buy extra tubular keys for the fridge and can’t figure out which type of key it uses

Those white plastic pieces are just for shipping and are removed at installation.

Any advice/feedback/experience on enclosing the unit. I’ve had it free standing on an open wall for 3 years but I am now looking to build out a bar/storage area along that wall, incorporating the wine fridge on one side.

The cleanest look would be to enclose, like a kitchen refrigerator with matching wood paneling going around, however I am aware of ventilation issues.

My main question is whether there a certain threshold deemed appropriate (e.g., leave 4 inches on each side and 10 inches behind) or if any enclosure is a bad idea.

Has anyone ordered MDS shelves in 2024? I have a new Artevino arriving this week, and following this thread was hoping to get maybe ~3 MDS shelves to supplement.

I noticed that the product listing on Wine Enthusiast now has the MDS shelves labeled as “2023 and Earlier Only”, with no version listed for 2024.

Anyway, hoping there hasn’t been a recent change on either the Artevino or the shelves that has made them incompatible with each other.

Did you end up buying and installing the MDS shelves? I have an Artevino III heading my way from Costco and wanting to add a few of these shelves but trying to confirm if they will still work on the current model shipping from Costco.

I ordered these from WE last July. Fit my Artevino just fine. They were a bit awkward to install but I got them in eventually.

Yep! I also bought the same set of 3 as Kevin in December (https://www.wineenthusiast.com/w/eurocave-main-du-sommelier-rolling-shelves-set-of-3) and they worked just fine on the brand new Artevino. I don’t know what the “2023 and earlier” is referencing.

Thank you. I placed the order this morning!

Any “experts” around here re: the bracing bracket? Went into the unit today to move/add some bottles and I noticed the bar was removed on 1 side, was still firmly in 1 wall but not the other. I removed the bottles from around the area, and couldn’t get the bar to properly sit in the end where its not in the wall, seems to be an inch short or whatever.

Does that mean the unit is already buckling? I could have sworn someone once mentioned unloading the unit and using some wratches or something to tighten it up. Or am I just missing something obvious?

Door seems to seal ok, temps seem fine and everything in the unit seems the proper temp so im not too worried (yet)

Anyone know what the difference between the 2023 and earlier and new MDS shelves are? Just got a new Artevino III, and leaning towards the 2023 and earlier shelves as those seem confirmed to work, as the WE site and tech support are very unhelpful I’m determining the differences (the WE site reviews for the new version seems to actually be reviews for a bunch of different products).

So I have two versions. I bought an older Eurocave used which came with MDS shelves so I assume these are what’s referred to as the pre-2023 version. Separately, I purchased the “newer” MDS shelves (early '23) for my Artevinos. I can confirm both work fine in the Artevino with no issues. Here are a few pictures. The one with the rollers is the older version and one with the sliding brackets is the newer version. I hope this helps!

Awesome, thanks! Any preference on one over the other?

I like the older (rolling ones) but they both work fine for me.

Honestly, the older version. Once they are in there’s really no difference but the setup/moving of the shelves is more simple with the older. The newer one you have to line up the notches underneath the shelf

Anyone not using the “display” shelve? I don’t want my bottles standing there…can you still use it as a regular shelve?
