Fat Cork is fun for champagne, http://fatcork.com.
I’d second this and specifiy M and S on Queen Anne Hill (there are two shops–the other in Ravenna/university district). If you are looking for something specific or high end, ask. They have a few such things stashed in the back.
My limited experience is that the Ravenna shop is much better with medium-high end burgs (Bize 1er, Dujac village, etc), but the QA shop has a bit more diversity (S Rhone, NW wines, etc).
John, curious why you prefer the QA shop?

Dan M has been a friend and drinking buddy for 30 years, and he knows my palate better than jay. Much of what I buy from them doesn’t make it on the shelf, so you may be right-- if you are looking to walk in and buy off the shelf on any given day, you will certainly find different things at the two shops.
M&S for a small selection, but they are actually selections, and they’ll make recommendations.
If you’re just looking for the biggest shop and not advice, try Esquin. They have a very large selection of domestic pinot, and a fairly good sized shelf of burgs, and another of champagne.
Personally I agree with Matt and prefer Vif, but you will only find maybe 2 bottles each of champagne, burg, and domestic pinot. Lots of loire and other goodies however. Think Dressner selections plus other nice stuff in that vein.
Short of all that - go to Portland.
Vino Verite in the Capitol Hill district has a nicely curated selection.
