Seattle. March 5th. 7 Burgundy winemakers (Ponsot, Lambrays, etc) at Cafe Campagne

Just in case y’all are around, I just found out about this event next week and grabbed tickets. Not everyday we have Burgundy producers visiting Seattle! Dinner + wine = $175 (fairly reasonable in my opinion!)

Thanks for the heads-up!

Anytime! Not every day something like this happens in the upper left. I don’t expect them to be bringing grand crus necessarily but it’ll still probably be a great time

Thanks again for flagging this! I attended and greatly enjoyed the evening. The dinner was relocated from Cafe Campagne to Maximilien due to a plumbing emergency. My delight was meeting the wine growers in person and hearing them talk about their wines. Fifteen wines were presented. “Best in Show” for me–considering style, quality, and value–was Thierry et Pascale Matrot Bourgogne Chardonnay 2022. My other favorites were Vincent Girardin Cremant de Bourgogne Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs NV and Domaine des Lambrays Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru “Les Loups” 2021. Big thanks and appreciation to Crunchy Red Fruit and Vineyard Brands for organizing the dinner and to Maximilien for hosting.
