So apparently the wait was 25 minutes.
By the time they opened all the tables were seated, no idea how long the throng outside had to wait. But if you want it to be twenty five minutes, then sure. It’s 25.

I recall a lovely pegau dinner with you and Laurence some years ago at the wild ginger. I like their food and have since they opened. It’s become a comfort food after 30 years of the exact same menu

We ended up at Atoma and Joule, both were excellent.

Sat at the bar at Atoma tonight and, as expected, the food was firing on all cylinders.

That looks great and Atoma was going to be on my list for September but unfortunately they are closed on Mondays. I am finding that many of the better restaurants in Seattle are. Any recommendations for a place that is open on a Monday? All cuisines in play but I believe we already have one sushi omakase type meal booked.

La Loba - spanish leaning
edit: i would recommend those on any day of the week, not just b/c they’re open on monday. they are among the best in Seattle.

L’Oursin is open Mondays and I would recommend it any night. French nw seasonal. Wine list is natty but they do allow corkage for I think $35.
