I will be in Scottsdale next week and have been given the task of finding a restaurant for a group of 8.(Friends that work together)
Looking for a upscale casual trendy fun restaurant with good food.BYO or outrageous wine list is not a must for this group.
Also, looking for great restaurants that are good for dining alone.

Check out Cowboy Ciao (http://www.cowboyciao.com/), T Cooks (http://www.royalpalmshotel.com/restaurant/), Razz’s (www.razzsrestaurant.com) and Mastro’s City Hall (http://www.mastrosrestaurants.com/Locations/AZ/11-City-Hall-Scottsdale-Main/Default.aspx). These are a few of my favorites. FYI BYO is extremely limited in AZ - thankfully that is not a requirement of yours.

Or take a little bit of a road trip and go to Binkley’s in Cave Creek - arguably the best place in the metro area.

I will second Cowboy Ciao but try to look at the list before you go. It’s ridiculously long.
