I purchased a bit of wine from them. They cannot deliver the wine, provide a refund, respond to emails or pick up the phone. There are posts in the UK wine forum to avoid Starling Wines and Paul Ricketts, but I failed to catch them. They advertise a lot of wines they do not have in inventory, and as it seems, have desire to deliver.
If anyone has recommendations for a UK based claim’s agent, please PM me.

Starling Wines are generally legit, but they’re a bit of a pain in the ass. I bought some Hermitage La Chapelle IIRC last year, took about 4 months for them to deliver it. They’re liv-ex arbitrage basically, rather than holding their own stock.
Have you tried an email to Paul directly? I can give you his email address. It took about 3-4 months from order for it to be delivered into BBR, that was with escalations to Paul directly.
I wouldnt say it is necessarily a scam, but just shit customer service.
Would appreciate the direct email. It’s been 8 months now, one email responded to out of 10+. Still believe I’ve been robbed till either a refund or wines appear.
